How to install OpenBusiness?
In order to install the OpenBusiness profile, please follow the steps below:
Step 1
Download a 8.x version of Drupal from drupal.org. OpenBusiness installs itself as a profile on top of clean Drupal 8.
Step 2
1. Download OpenBusiness profile.
- Via Download tar.gz / zip from drupal.org
Extract archive to profiles folder from your Drupal root directory and rename openbusiness folder to openbusiness_profile.
- Via Composer
Composer will download the profile folder into root/modules/contrib/openbusiness. You need to rename openbusiness folder to openbusiness_profile and move it to profiles folder from your Drupal root directory.
- Via GIT
In your profiles folder insert git clone command with openbusiness_profiles parameter at the end of the command.
Example: git clone --branch x git@git.drupal.org:project/openbusiness.git openbusiness_profile
2. Run composer update into root/profiles/openbusiness_profile folder.
3. Open a browser and go to your URL. Select OpenBusiness profile at Select an installation profile step and complete the remaining steps using the wizard.
From here onwards, you are ready for customizing your experience.
